SensePlayer – Check firmware version and device information

Information

Below are steps to access device information via the menu system.

Application

  • Can be used to determine the running firmware version.
  • Can be used to determine available space on flashdisk

Steps

  1. Press MENU button on the Senseplayer.
  2. Then use the arrows to navigate to Settings and press OK.
  3. Then navigate to SensePlayer information and press OK once more to see firmware and deviuce information.

Information provided on pressing OK:

  • The first 3 items contain the Copyright information for the firmware, TTS and OS.
  • The next 2 items contain the Software Build date and Kernel version.
  • The next 3 items provide the Device Name, OS version and Key number.
  • The total space and remaining space of the internal flashdisk.
  • Total space and remaining space on the SD card. (Only appears if an SD card is inserted.)
  • Mac Address, (does not appear until you have connected to the internet.
