SensePlayer – Compatibility with with a USB thumb drive


Problem

A customer wishes to use their SensePlayer with a USB drive.

 


Resolution


  1. The SensePlayer has a USB C connection on the bottom, if the USB drive has USB C connector it will work, if it uses USB A then a convertor adaptor would be required,
  1. The SensePlayer will read USB thumb drives formatted in FAT32 and EXFAT but will not read any drives formatted as NTFS.
  1. HIMS inform us that external SSDs and HDDs that require power may not work.
