FS Auth - Sentinel activation error 201
Problem
Whilst attempting to activate a Sentinel server you encounter error 201 during activation.

- JAWS/Zoomtext/Fusion
Resolution
The activation system needs a new locking code to be generated for successful activation of a network license.
This problem can occur if the Sentinel server has dropped a license and you attempt to re-activate with the same locking code. Causing a new locking code to be generated will allow successful activation using the steps below.
- Open the following path to location of hidden/system files:
“c:\program files\Freedom Scientific\Activator”
Within this folder locate and delete the following files:
FSShell32.dll
FSShellext.dll
HWD.INI
Note: If you do not see the above files, please make sure you have hidden/system/protected operating files showing in folder options.
- After deleting the files above open “services.msc” and then stop and restart the “SentinelLM” service. This will force generation of a new locking code which you can use to re-activate the server again.
