Set Openbook to retain scanned images in document

Problem

A customer wishes to have Openbook software retain the image of the document just scanned.

Detail

Openbook normally discards image files created after recognising text but can be set to retain the images if required. This may be useful if you wish to retain the images for re-recognition or for diagnosing an issue.

Resolution

  1. Press ALT+G to open Settings menu and then down arrow to Workflow Setings.
  2. Then make sure you are highlighted on acquire and read and then TAB to “modify” button and press SPACEBAR on it.
  3. Then press CONTROL+TAB to “process” page.
  4. Press tab to reach “keep exact view” and press SPACEBAR to check it.
  5. Then press ENTER.
  6. Then press TAB to reach the “OK” button in the sub dialogue.
  7. Then press ALT+G for “Settings” and select “Save settings”.
  8. Then TAB to “Save” button and press SPACEBAR to retain these changes.
