SmartVision 3 – Backup phone data

Problem

You wish to backup data on a SmartVision 3 phone.

Applies to

  1. SmartVision 3

Resolution

You can use the backup application to backup your data to Google cloud storage provided you are signed into your account on the phone and have either Wi-Fi or mobile data available for connection.

Path:  Settings > System > Backup > Backup Now

Detailed steps

  1. Press MENU button and up use IP/DOWN ARROW keys to select Settings, then presss OK.
  2. Then use UP/DOWN keys to select System, then press OK.
  3. Then press UP/DOWN keys to select Backup, then press OK.
  4. Then press UP/DOWN keys to select Backup Now button, then press OK.
  5. After activating the Backup Now button you can navigate to the top of the window where a progress bar will b e shown of the backup.  Once completed you can then safely reset the device.
