SmartVision 2/3 – No screen reader speech on phone


Problem

A customer with SmartVision 3 phone can hear no screen reader speech any longer but the phone plays power on chime and Google Voice button works.

Resolution

Ensure that the phone has been fully charged and powered on, then try each solution below: 

·       Press the volume up button on the right hand side to raise the volume so speech can be heard.

·       Press and hold both volume up and volume down buttons simmultaniously for at least 3 seconds, Talkback screen reader should start.
