SmartVision 3 – OK button conducts search
Problem
When using SmartVision 3 mobile, pressing OK button conducts a search action rather than confirming the selected action as intended.
Resolution
This problem is known to the developers and occurs when a
Talkback is update is not applied correctly.
To fix the problem try the solutions below.
Method 1 – Check for updates
Kapsys expect to push an update at the end of February
2024 to correct the problem. Please
check for updates after February 2024 to update phone software.
Method 2 – Manually change gesture
If for some reason you cannot update try this alternative
solution to reset gesture for OK button.
- Go back to the home screen
- Press
Menu Key
- Select
“Talkback accessibility” and double tap the screen to validate
- Select
“Customize gestures” and double tap the screen to validate
- Select
“Swipe left then down – Screen search” and double tap to validate
- Select
“Activate” (top of the list) then double tap the screen to validate
Method 2 – Accessibility Reset
- From Home screen open Phone app.
- Then dial *#111#
The code once dialed will restart and reset the
accessibility options on the phone and resolve the problem the OK button problem.
