Smartvision 3 - Resets

Problem

a customer SmartVision phone is not working as expected.  A common troubleshooting step would be to use one of the reset methods to fix the problem.

  1. SmartVision 2/3

Resolution

Use one of the resets as appropriate below, be aware that some resets may change settings or remove user data.

Blind user - settings reset

Dial *#111# to conduct a blind user settings reset, you do not need to press OK or call to start the reset process.


Low vision - settings reset

Dial *#222# to conduct a low vision settings reset, you do not need to press OK or call to start the reset process.

Complete Factory Reset

Please dial *#333# shortcut to carry out a full reset or use the following path in the menu system: Menu > Applications > Settings > System > Advanced> Reset.  The factory reset erases all settings and customer data from the device.
