SmartVision – Announcing numbers as single digits
Problem
A customer would like to have numbers announced as single digits, for example when receiving a challenge code for a transation.
Applies to
- SmartVision 2
- SmartVision 3
Resolution
The SmartVision 2/3 do not posses the capability to control how numbers are spoken by the speech synthesizer.. Below are workarounds that apply to each of the SmartVision range.
- SmartVision 2: Use the shortcut #8 to spell the last spoken text.
- SmartVision 3: Use Left/right to read any text character by character (or word by word)
