Smartvision 2 - Phone is no longer charging
Problem
When connected to the power adaptor the phone no longer appears to charge anymore.

- Kapsys SmartVision 2
Resolution
Most likely the problem will be simple. Please check the following.
• Charge cable: - The charge cable may have been damaged or gone faulty. Try to borrow or purchase a a USB A to USB C cable and try that with the phone to see if it helps.
• Charger - The phone charger may have gone faulty, try using another USB charger and possibly cable to see if the phone then charges.
• Battery - The battery may not be making proper contact with the phone electronics because it has moved as a result some jolt (see steps below).
- Disconnect the phone from any charger and turn the phone over so the back is facing you.
- Then in the lower left corner feel for a notch on the corner and gently prise up the back panel.
- You will need to go all the way around gently lifting it until it comes away from the catches.
- Inside use a fingernail at the bottom of the battery and gently lift out from the bottom.
- Then whilst you have the back off press and hold the power button of the phone for 20 seconds.
- Then afterwards replace the battery back and close up the back of the phone.
