SmartVision – Some Play store items do not update


Problem

A customer receives a notification about updates to “Speech Recognition and synthesis” or  “QuickSupport” via Play store but are unable to update either app.

 

Applies to

  1. SmartVision 3
  2. SmartVision 2

 

Resolution

Customers are advised that Kapsys are responsible for updating certain apps via System Update mechanism rather than Google Play store.  If a customer receives a notification about the apps mentioned below they shoudl not attempt to try to update them via the Play store as it will not work.  The following apps will only be update by Kapsys via System Update, this is normal behaviour.
