TextHelp - Reset Read & Write settings (Mac OS)
Problem
Settings for Read & Write are corrupted or the user would like to revert to default settings for troubleshooting.
Resolution
- Close the Read & Write app if it is currently writing.
- Then click the Apple symbol top left and choose System Settings or System Preferences.
- In the System Settings window scroll down and click Read & Write at the bottom, Please see sreenshot below.

- Click the padlock symbol and enter your sign in password to continue.
- Then click Reset User Settings To Default Values.
- Then re-launch Read and Write, then test to see if the problem is resolved.
