Texthelp - Setting Accessibility permission for Read and Write (Mac OS)

Problem

Texthelp Read & Write software is not working correctly, it is possible that accessibility permissions setting are not correctly set.

Detail

During initial installation Read & Write prompts to add Accessibility permissions that it needs to control.  However, it is possible this may have been missed or ignored which may lead to the software unable to work properly.  

Resolution

Accessibility permissions must be set to allow Read & Write to operate properly with Mac OS, use the steps below to set these permissions.
  1. Close Read & Write if it is currently running.
  2. Then click Apple symbol (top left) then click System Settings.
  3. In the Settings window scroll down and click Privacy and Security.
  4. Then scroll through the right hand list to Accessibility, then click to enable the toggle switch to turn it on.
  5. If you are asked to authenticate use the sign in password.
  6. Then open and  test Read & Write functionality to see if this has helped.
