TSS – Tiger software offline manual activation


Problem

A customer in a restricted IT environment is unable to use internet activation for TSS software.  

 


Resolution

e steps below will require logging in as Administrator.

1.       From Tiger menu you go VP license manager and select Activate.

2.       Then select Activate by File button.



3.       Then respond on the next pop up and click No as we do not have a response yet.

4.       A screen similar to below will appear, please fill the form to proceed and remember to check the data privacy checkbox. 



5.       The next pop up shows that activation request file has been created in documents folder.

6.       Direct your browser to the following site to upload it:  https://www.viewplus.com/software/activation/

7.       Select manual activation on web page and browse for the DAT file and submit.

8.       Then click Download button to download license to a location on you easily access, then copy to external media if necessary.

9.       On the workstation to be activated have the DAT file available to complete activation.

10.   Reopen the activation wizard and click Activate by File, Yes. then browse for the location of activation file and click Open button to activate the software.
