SmartVision 2 - Unable to download the SmartVision update

Problem

You are not able to update the softwar on the Kapsys Smartvision 2 mobile phone.

Resolution

  • Please make sure your SmartVision2 has an Internet connection as it is necessary to download the update. It is also advised to use a Wi-Fi connection to optimize the download time.
  • If an error occurs while downloading, please restart the update from “Settings”, “About Phone”, “System Updates”.
  • If you have included an extra memory card into the SmartVision2. Please remove it before performing the update.
  • You can view the progress of the download via the update notification in the notification pane.
  • When the download is complete, select "Install" from the system update screen.
