Unable to permanently adjust speech rate on the fly

Problem

When you using he hotkeys CONTROL+ALT with page keys to increase or decrease the voice rate the setting is lost when using ALT+TAB to switch apps.

Resolution

You must use a different set of keystrokes to permanently change the speech rate or use the Voice Adjustment dialogue to change the speech rate.

  • Increase rate: ALT+WIN+CONTROL+PAGE UP
  • Decrease rate: ALT+WIN+CONTROL+PAGE DOWN
