WeWalk – Smart cane audio transmission error

Problem

When attempting to route audio from the SmartVision 3 mobile to the WeWalk smart cane an error is spoken; “Your device does not support sound transmission...”

SmartVision 3 


Resolution

  1. The problem has been verified in-house, the problem is due the requirements of WeWalk for a higher Bluetooth protocol than the SmartVsion supports.   The SmartVision supports Bluetooth 4.3. 
  2. There no customer action posssible due this being the properties of the SmartVision chipset capabilities, no software upgrade is possible.
