Microsoft - Change account name
Problem
A Windows user wishes to change the account name that appears when they log on.

Restolution

Note
This change does not update any folder names which remain the same only the visible account name is modified.
- Click Start button and search Control Panel, then open the result.
- Click User Accounts > Change account name.
- Then at the prompt enter the name name.
- Then click Change Name button to save the changes.
