The most likely cause of this problem is a complete keyboard discharge. Keyboard can be charged using USB cable with any USB compatible charger or wirelessly whet it its put into its cradle in front of Mountbatten Brailler. Wireless charging takes a lot of time (up to 12 hours) and Mountbatten Tutor have to be powered on all the time.
To check keyboard battery state push Space+K combination and keyboard should issue one long up to four short beeps (depending on battery charge). If it is charged it will also issue two little higher sounds afterwards. Mountbatten should also say "Keyboard charging" if charge state changed from off to on state and keyboard is not in sleep state.
If keyboard is not connected to USB you can hear short sound signals after it is put into its cradle in the middle of the device and also "Keyboard charging" message if charging started.
So, please ask the customer if he/she can hear these sounds and ask for charging the keyboard using any USB charger for few hours and test.
