Word documents showing right angle lines in corners of documents.
Problem
When viewing/editing documents you see right angle lines appearing in all four corners of your document view.
Resolution
The lines being shown are known as crop marks and their display can be disabled.
- In Microsoft Word click File > Options > Advanced.
- Then scroll to “Show document contents” section of the advanced settings.
- Now uncheck the item "Show crop marks".
- Then click OK button at the bottom right of the dialogue.
Your documents will now show without crop marks.
