Zoomtext - Change default magnification level

Problem

A ZoomText user would like to change the default 2x magnification level to suit their needs.

Resolution

In ZoomText it is possible to adjust the default 2x magnification level by updating the default settings and saving them.  In this way ZoomText will always start at a preferred magnification level.

  1. Click the ZoomText taskbar button or press control+caps+U to open the ZoomText window.
  2. Click Magnifier toolbar tab and then click the arrow on the spin box for the magnification power preferred.
  3. Then click ZoomText menu > Configuration > Save as default.
  4. Then click Yes when asked to overwrite, the new default magnification level is set.
