Problem

During ZoomText setup version 2021 setup error 80070507 is posted and installation fails.

Resolution

  • Where possible please download the latest ZoomText 2021 build and try again.
  • If the installation fails proceed wit the following steps:

  1. Uninstall ZoomText and any other Freedom Scientific software from the machine.
  2. Then remove the Freedom Scientific folder under “c:\program files” and also “C:\program files (x86)” where present.
  3. The empty the user temp folder.
  4. Download a fresh installer for ZoomText 2021
