Zoomtext/Fusion - Automatic activation using the internet

Zoomtext/Fusion - Automatic activation using the internet

Problem

Before a ZoomText or Fusion software can run as a full license and not be limited by either demo license or 40 minute operation the software must go through an authorization process known as Software Activation.  A new ZoomText/Fusion customer requires guidance on activating their software over the internet.

Detail

When using a domestic/home computer and network it is usually possible to use the Automatic internet activation process.  If a third party non-Microsoft software firewall or internet security package is deployed on the computer system it may be necessary to disable it for this to work correctly.

Resolution

Please use the steps below to activate ZoomText/Fusion software:
  1. Open the Fusion window by clicking the taskbar button or pressing CONTROL+CAPSLOCK+U.
  2. Then click ZoomText/Fusion menu and choose Manage license > Update authorization.
  3. Then click "Update authorization" button.
  4. Then choose "Automatic using the internet (Recommended) radio button and click "Next" button.
  5. Click on the edit box and enter the 20 digit ILM code supplied with your license and click "Next" or press ENTER.
  6. ZoomText/Fusion should then prompt that this has been successful, click "Finish" button or press ENTER to complete activation.
