ZoomText - measures for information security FAQ

An organisation wishing to deploy ZoomText with a secure site wishes to under what measures have been taken to guard information security.

Below is a response we had from Vispero concerning measures for information security in the product. The following answer was provided by Vispero support 20/10/2021.

Q: What security measures have been undertaken for ZoomText Magnifier/Reader to protect the data?
A: ZoomText, and our other products JAWS and Fusion, do not store or write data anywhere. The software is only installed on the Desktop behind the security of the Network it is installed, and nothing is written or stored in files. Settings and access on the PC by the user are limited to the User space.



Note
With JAWS and Fusion installations it is possible to disable use of any external services to satisfy requirements of secure sites.
