ZoomText – Typing echo or tracking does not follow the editing cursor


Problem

When using ZoomText with some applications the cursor tracking and typing echo may not function to  follow the editing cursor.

  1. ZoomText
  2. Fusion

Resolution

One can define a customer cursor in ZoomText to allow it to track the editing cursor to provide better tracking and typing echo.
  1. Move to the application and window where the editing cursor can be seen.
  2. Then press the hotkey ALT+CONTROL+SHIFT+D on the keyboard.  ZoomText should respond that the custom cursor definition has been define.
  3. Then open the ZoomText window by clicking the taskbar button or use CONTROL+CAPSLOCK+U.
  4. Then click ZoomText menu > Configuration > Save as default.
  5. Then prompted click Yes button to overwrite the default configuration.
