DBT - Set up for Viewplus embossers

Problem

A Duxbury Braille Translator (DBT) user wishes to use their software with a Viewplus embosser.

Resolution

The instructions below assume that the necessary Windows drivers for the Viewplus embosser have been installed.  Use the below steps to add the embosser to Duxbury so that you can print Braille.

1. Open Duxbury then choose Global > Embosser Setup.
2. Click "New" button and then select Viewplus embosser.
3. Add a setup name.
4. Select "Send to printer" radio button and select installed Viewplus embosser.
   Choose OK.
5. Check paper dimensions.
6. Go to printers in control panel and find Viewplus embosser.
7. Right click the Viewplus embosser in "Devices and printers" and choose "printer properties" and choose "Device settings" and check paper dimensions are correct.
