Microsoft - Internet Explorer 11 retirement information

Current position
- Microsoft announced intentions to retire Internet Explorer in 2021 starting with announcement that its Office 365 services would no longer support the browser after 15/06/2022.
- Microsoft has put in place redirection notices to use Microsoft Edge when IE11 is opened by the user.
- Microsoft completely retired IE11 15/06/20222. From this date forward IE11 is completely disable its operating systems.
Affected operating systems
The operating systems below will also disable the browser at an unspecified time after 15/06/2022:
- Windows 8.1
- Windows 7 Extended Security Updates (ESU)
- Windows Server SAC (all versions)
- Windows 10 IoT Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) (all versions)
- Windows Server LTSC (all versions)
- Windows 10 client LTSC (all versions)
