Microsoft - Starting Windows Narrator
Problem
A screen reader user encounters a problem where they have lost access their product and there is no speech, they need to enable some speech in order to troubelshoot or request remote assistance.

Resolution
Windows Narrator is built into running copies of Windows, it should be nearly universally.
Starting Narrator
Use one of these methods to start Narrator when there is no speech:
- Press and hold CONTROL and Windows keys on the bottom left of keyboard.
- With the above held down press ENTER and release all keys, Windows Narrator speech should shortly after be heard.
- When Narrator assistance is no longer required press and hold CONTROL and WINDOWS keys, then press ENTTER to odisable Narrator.

On some Windows installations Ease Of Access has been renamed to Accessibility which may mean Narrator has been deliberately disabled..
