a. We now turn off Bluetooth when Sleep Mode is activated.
b. We removed the small delay when waking from Sleep Mode.
c. Auto Sleep Mode should now not activate when Android apps are in the foreground.
d. We’ve also changed what is spoken when the unit is awakened in an app in paused status. It now announces only the app and that it is paused, instead of rattling off all the information of the current title, elapsed time, etc.

f. The battery Alerts are fixed so that, if you set it to “beep”, it beeps rather than announcing.

i. There is now a new “Keypad Lock Warning” setting in the Global Options that allows you to choose whether you receive the keypad locked announcement after pressing several keys. Users may wish to turn this off, so that reading is not interrupted if keys are pressed accidentally when the keypad is locked.
j. The Russian option is removed from the language list, as this localization will not be completed in the foreseeable future. Russian voices are still available via the installer, so that Russian text can be read in the DAISY Player and Document Reader.
k. Thai voices are added to the Voice Installer on request.
a. This build adds the ability to install XAPK and APKS files directly from the File Manager. These are app packages that are bundled for any number of various reasons, and need to be split on installation. They are commonly found on APK Pure, APK Mirror, and APK Monk, all sites we recommend our users go to for apps.
b. The Android “Downloads” folder is now visible in the File Manager, as this is the default location for downloading files from Dropbox or OneDrive. You will also discover that, if you use something like APK Pure, or the Amazon App Store to download applications, the APK files are stored there, so you may want to check this folder and clear it out if you’ve done some experimenting.
a. When you finish playing an audio file, the position now remains at the end instead of returning to the beginning. So now, if you need to move back from the end of the file, you can do that appropriately.
b. Adds the ability to set a start and end point when playing an audio book as you can when playing single media files.
c. Now always saves marks and exit positions of any sub folder of the AudioBooks directory on your flashdisk, SD card, or USB drive, eliminating the need to Save As Audio book to hold your exit position.

c. The announcement when switching from mono to stereo is now turned off, as it is rather obvious to the listener when this happens, and the announcement interrupts listening of the radio playback.

c. As you navigate the Episode list, if you have partially played an episode, it will now announce the elapsed time of your partial playback.
d. You can now access the menu while playing a podcast, allowing you to adjust Movement Unit settings during playback. Previously, this could only be done from the episode list.
e. There is now a new option in the “Options” area of the Podcasts menu, allowing you to choose to do a “Direct Stream” of podcasts rather than downloading them. *Note: during streaming, you have only a 30 seconds movement option.
f. Now, when you delete an episode, it really deletes. It turns out, previously, although the episode status changed, the files were not actually going away, a fact you can verify if you check the Podcasts” folder of the File Manager. Now, when you delete a episode, the file is deleted properly.
a. Arrowing up will now announce the elapsed time without pausing the stopwatch or timer, just as the Mode Key does.
