SmartVision 3 – Supported Bluetooth protocol

Problem

A SmartVision user or potential customer wishes to know what Bluetooth standard the Kapsys SmartVision 3 works with.

  1. Kapsys SmartVision 3

Resolution

  1. The SmartVision 3 supports up to Bluetooth standard version 4.2, therefore any devices you wish to connect to needs to support this standard or lower.  This is a technicial limitation of the phone chipset which cannot be fixed in a software update.
  2. As an example the Meta AI glasses require Bluetooth 5.2 or 5.3 dependimg model and therefore are not compatible with SmartVision 3.
