BrailleSense 6 - Create screenshot, screen recording or logs

Problem

A BrailleSense 6 user wishes to create logs or provide screenshots to help with a technical support problem.

Resolution

Below are a number of utility commands a user may use commands designed to assist with a technical support problem.

• Take a screen shot:  F4-S
i.  It is saved in the “Music” folder, as that’s where general media is stored.
ii.  A sub folder called “ScreenShots” is created, and each image is saved according to the date and time it was taken.

• Create a screen recording. Start/stop Key: F4-R
i.  It is saved in the “Music” folder.
ii.  A sub folder called “ScreenRecording” is created,

• Create a system log and screen recording simultaneously. Start/stop key: F4-L from the Main Menu.
i.  A zip file is automatically created containing both the log data and the screen recording.
ii.  The zip file is saved to Flashdisk/logData.

• Create a system log only. Start/stop key: Backspace-Space-Enter-2-3-5-6 from the Main Menu.
i.  A log file is created and saved to Flashdisk/LogData, named according to the time and date it was created.
