Connect HIMS Polaris series notetakers to Wi-Fi wireless network

Use the steps below to join Wi-Fi wireless network.

Applies to

  • Polaris
  • Polaris Mini

Steps

  1. Press key chord Backspace-1-4-5-6 to turn on wireless adaptor.
  2. Press F1 to open Start menu and select “Set up Internet” then “Wireless LAN” and press ENTER.
  3. Then press F3 or space-4-5 to move to the Access Points List.
  4. Press space-1 and space-4 or F3 and space-F3 to navigate through the list until you find the one to connect to and press ENTER to select it.
  5. At the Network Key edit box enter the Wi-Fi password to join the network. The network key must be entered in UEB or Computer Braille.
  6. After typing in the password press ENTER to connect to the network.
