ElBraille - Battery status information no longer reported

Problem

JAWS does not provide date/time or battery status info when a user presses E2 and E3 keys on ElBraile unit.  

Resolution

The most likely cause is that the Braille “flash messages” has been disabled in advertently.  Restoring it to enabled should fix the issue.
 
  1. Press JAWSKey+F2 to open “Settings Centre” and press ENTER.
  2. Then type the word “Flash” into the edit box and arrow down to “Enable flash messages” option.
  3. Press SPACEBAR and toggle this option so its state is “Checked”.
  4. Then TAB to the “Apply” button and press SPACEBAR  on it to save the changes and exit the dialogue.
