JAWS – How to share your screen on a Teams call

Problem

A JAWS user wishes to share their screen whilst on a Teams call.

Applies to

  1. Microsoft Teams

Resolution

  1. Open Teams and establish the meeting.
  2. Enable the JAWS Virtual PC Cursor (JAWSKey+Z) to gain full access to the application controls.
  3. Then press CONTROL+SHIFT+E to initiate screen sharing.
  4. Then press TAB key to navigate to the screen item (desktop, application window etc.) to share, then press ENTER.
  5. When done sharing the screen, press TAB to reach Stop Presenting button and press ENTER or SPACEBAR on it.
