FS Remote – Start menu fails to open in CITRIX after update KB5048685 is installed

Problem

A JAWS/Fusion Remote Access user discovers that after installing Microsoft Windows update KB5048685 In a remote Windows 11 22H2 or 23H2 CITRIX  environment the Start menu fails to open.


Applies to

  1. JAWS
  2. Fusion 

Resolution

This problem is not caused by JAWS or Fusion running in the CITRIX environment.  Those sites that use CITRIX should refer to the article from the developer Support Article CTX692398 with a resolution to this problem.
