Reset Topaz XL-HD desktop magnifier

Problem

A Topaz XL-HD is not not performing as expected.

Resolution

Below description of controls and reset procedure to return magnifier to defaults.

Description and location of controls


  • Red Focus lock - extreme left underside of control panel
  • Yellow brightness dial – first from left
  • Black Magnification dial - third from left
  • Blue Colour dial - fourth from left
  • Green power button - fifth from left (extreme right)

Reset procedure

Press and hold these controls for ten seconds:

  • Press focus lock (extreme left)
  • Press centre of brightness dial (first from left)
  • Press centre of magnification dial (second from left)
  • Press centre of colour select dial (fourth from left)
