Information

Below are some useful links for customers using our product Freedom Scientific Braille products with IOS.

What is Voiceover?

Voiceover is the screen reader included in IOS and Mac OS which primarily is operated through touch gestures on screen. However, Focus and other Braille displays can also be used with the screen reader.

Note
When operating a Braille display with Voiceover it is the screen reader that is primarily in charge of things, the Braille display only operates as a dumb terminal, in cases beyond initial connection problems customers may need to be referred to Apple for detailed help with the screen reader.
