Mac OS - Clear the Safari browser cache
Problem
The Safari browser in Mac OS is not working as expected/has a problem.

Resolution
Below two methods for clearing the Safari browser cache.
Method 1 - Use keyboard shortcut
- Close any tabs and then close the Safari browser completely.
- Then press and hold down the shift key.
- With the shift key held down double click the Safari icon to re-launch the browser. This action clear the browser cache which may resolve the issue.
- Open Safari as normal then click the Safari menu bar.
- Then choose Preferences > Advanced tab.
- Then check the item at the bottom “Show the Developer menu in menu bar.
- Close the preferences window.
- Now click the newly revealed Developer menu and choose Empty Cache.
