DBT - Deactivate license manually

DBT - Deactivate license manually

Problem

You need to deactivate a installed license for Duxbury to free it up to be deployed elsewhere when the internet connection is firewalled and may prevent automatic deactivation (such as a school or business).

Applies to

  1. Duxbury Braille Translator (DBT) for Windows

Resolution

  1. Open DBT and click Help > About DBT.
  2. Then click "Deactivate" button.
  3. Follow the prompts to deactivate without the internet by email.
  4. If there is any error, the user can click View/Print button to send me a full diagnostic Notepad file which we can use to complete the deactivation manually.
