DBT - Activation error no Ref Code
Problem
Duxbury asking to activate unexpectedly, when you attempt to activate you receive an error message and/or there is no “Ref code” number available.
Applies to
- Duxbury (DBT)
Resolution:
When Duxbury activation fails and there is no “Ref code” number it means there has been a malfunction in the software activation system. To correct the issue take the following steps.
- Check that you have retained the Duxbury license text number.
- Then uninstall the software (if necessary log in as Administrator). This will correctly uninstall the license.
- After completing uninstallation, reinstall the software as normal.
- Then attempt to activate the software again.
