Problem

A JAWS user would to manage the BBC iPlayer PG lock.

Resolution

Some types of content on the BBC iPlayer site may result in a content pop-up.  The BBC iPlayer website has been tested with JAWS 2026, use the steps below:

  1. Open the BBC iplayer website:  www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer
  2. Navigate to the restricted content and open the page.
  3. Navigate to the Play button then press ENTER.
  4. When the content restriction window opens press TAB key twice to land on the option Play Without PG Lock, then press ENTER.
  5. The program should then play as normal.
