JAWS – Page number not announced in Word document
Problem
A JAWS user encounters a problem where JAWS does not announce then number of the page the cursor has moved into whilst using the arrow keys within a document.

Resolution
This is an option that can be changed within JAWS Quick Settings.
- Press JAWSkey+V to open Quick Settings.
- At the edit prompt type the word 'Page' then press DOWN ARROW to the option 'Page, section and column break'.
- Then press SPACEBAR check the option if unchecked.
- Then press ENTER to save the change.
