MBT – Unable to connect to WiFi network
Problem
When entering network connections to join a WiFi netowk from the Mountbatten MBT Braille keyboard or USB QWERTY key the credentials are rejected as invalid even though they are checked and verified a valid

Resolution
- Be sure to have gathered and checked the network credentials for the network you wish to connect to.
- Attempt connection using a plugged in USB keyboard if available.
- If using an external USB keyboard fails try the steps below.
Require items
- Desktop computer
- USB memory drive
- On a desktop computer create a text file called MBT_Network.txt with the following text inside:
Network=AAAAA
Password=BBBBB
(replace AAAAA with the network ID to connect to and BBBBB with that network's password.
- Click File > Save and click the USB memory drive and click Save button.
- Open File Explorer and right click the USB memory drive and choose Eject, then physically remove it from the computer.
- Then plug in the USB memory drive into the left side USB socket on MBT unit.
- Press MENU key on the keyboard and navigate to WiFi Settings option.
- Then select the option Read network credentials from file. MBT will then read the data from the USB memory drive and save it.
