Problem

There is a technical support issue with one of the older style Mountbatten notetakers such as Mountbatten Whisperer models that needs firmware version informationi in order to successfully troubleshoot the cause. In the course of troubleshooting problems with the unit.

Resolution

Please use the steps below to carrying out a check for firmware version:

  1. Please ensure that command mode has been enabled by pressing NEWLINE+ SPACE + TAB + BACKTAB.
  2. Then presss COMMAD key then enter:  VER
  3. Then press ENTER key to hear the firmware version number.

Please have the customer/end user provide version information to technical support for troubleshooting.
