A customer wishes to install an Android app on the SensePlayer using the built in installer package.

Resolution

The SensePlayer App Installer allows for the following popular applications to be installed on the player from a pre-set list below:

  1. Apple Music
  2. Amazon Alexa - (added in Firmware 2.2)
  3. Audible
  4. Audials Play - (added in Firmware 2.2)
  5. Atmosphere - (added in Firmware 2.2)
  6. Bard Mobile
  7. Be My Eyes - (added in Firmware 2.2)
  8. BBC Sounds
  9. Chirp
  10. Chrome browser
  11. Dolphin EasyReader
  12. Dropbox
  13. Learning ally Audiobooks
  14. Libby (added in Firmware 2.2)
  15. Microsoft Edge - (added in Firmware 2.2)
  16. Netflix
  17. Pandora
  18. RHvoice - (added in Firmware 2.2)
  19. SCRIBD/everend - (added in Firmware 2.2)
  20. Sero
  21. Skype
  22. Spotify
  23. StreamSphere - (added in Firmware 2.2)

Installation


Notes
Note
An active Wi-Fi connection will be required for the installation and operation of many of the applications.

1.       Press HOME key and use the arrow keys to select All Apps and press OK.

2.       Then use up/down arrow keys to select App Installer and press OK..

3.      In the app installer use UP/DOWN arrow keys to select the desired app to install, then press OK. A series of beeps will sound during download/install after which the SensePlayer will indicate when download is complete.


Opening the app

  1. To open the installed app press HOME > All Apps and press OK.
  2. Then use the up/down arrow keys to select the app installed and press OK to open it.
