SensePlayer – Media playback no longer starts from beginning


Problem

Playback of one or more media file starts playback in the middle of file and one is uneble to play from beginning unless it is selected File Manager.

 

Detail

If a customer has previously set SensePlayer to remember position from last playback and then subsequently disable the feature, SensePlayer will still obey the previous position marked.  Whilst you can workaround the problem by launching the file directly from File Manager it may be necessary to take action so that the media again plays back from the beginning.

 

Resolution

The problem may be resolved by deleting one or all of the marks that have been set.  Use each method as appropriate below.

 

Method 1 – Use delete key during playback

1.    Start playback of the affected media.

2.    Whilst playing the media hold down Delete key.


Method 2 – Delete all marks

1.    From Home screen open File Manager.

2.    Open Music folder.

3.    Delete both MediaMarkInfo files.
