Opening Podcasts application

1. Press HOME key then UP/DOWN ARROW keys to select Podcasts, then press OK.  
2. Alternatively press HOME key then press 8 on the numeric pad.
3. Once the Podcasts app opens you will hear ‘Creating feed list’ spoken.

Selecting from feed list

1. Whilst in the feed list press UP/DOWN keys to move through the feed list to select a podcast to subscribe to then press RIGHT ARROW to examine the feed.
2. Then use UP/DOWN keys to select an episode in the postcast feed, press Star key to hear a description about the podcast episode.  When finished with the description press CANCEL key to return to the episode list.
3. In the episode list press then press OK to download the episode or if it is already downloaded pressing OK will begin playing immediately from last playback position.
4. Whilst playing hold LEFT or RIGHT ARROW keys to select a unit to skip forward or backward.

Searching for podcasts

1. Whilst in the feed list in the podcasts app press MENU key.
2. Then use UP/DOWN ARROW keys to select Podcast Search, then press OK.
3. Then use LEFT/RIGHT ARROW keys to select the podcast directory to search in.
4. Then press DOWN ARROW to select Search Mode, use LEFT/RIGHT keys to select the search mode  you wish to use.  Selecting category will allow you to select from a list of podcast categories, select word input mode will allow you to enter text to search by. 
   

Add podcasts manually

1. If a particular podcast is not available through any of the directories one may add them manually into the Podcast.url text file. 
   
2. One may add the podcast XML format feed URL or an OPML entry from another podcast app. 
   
3. You will need access to a Windows or Mac computer to access and edit the podcast.url file.
   
4. Each entry must be a separate line.
