SensePlayer – Unable to use numeric keypad
Problem
A SensePlayer customer is unable to operate the numeric
keypad.
Applies to
- SensePlayer ET
- SensePlayer EZ
Symptoms:
- Pressing any numeric key does not do anything,
no response heard
- Menu and navigation keys operate normally
Resolution
When the front panel keylock is disengaged all front
panel buttons can be used. However, If
you press and hold the star key (bottom right) this will engage the numeric keypad
lock. To resolve the problem, do the
following:
- Ensure
the keylock slider on the right side panel is pushed up to unlock the front
panel.
- Then
press and hold the star key for approximately 3 seconds or until you hear the
number lock status.
- From here it should be possible to enter numeric information as required.
