SmartVision 3 – Switch back from Gemini to using Google Assistant
Problem
A SmartVision user may encounter a problem where Gemini
is intercepting voice requests and the Google voice button on the side does not
work as expected.

Resolution
Please use the steps below to switch back from using Gemini to Google Assistant.
- Open Applications and then choose the Google app, then press OK.
- Then use UP/DOWN keys to select "Signed in as xxx@gmail.com" and press OK.
- Then Use UP/DOWN keys to select "Settings" and press OK.
- Then use UP/DOWN keys to select "Google Digital Assistant from Google." Then press OK.
- Then use UP/DOWN keys to select "Google Assistant” and press OK.
- Then use UP/DOWN arrow keys to select “Google Assistant” then press OK.
- Use UP/DOWN keys in the pop-up message to select the "Switch" button then press OK.
