TSS– Adding Braille page numbers to a embossed document


Problem

A customer wishes to have Braille page numbers show in their Braille document.

 


Resolution

Page number in Braille requires that the document have page number enabled in the footer, once this is done one can set TSS to provide Braille page number for the embossed document and also include reference to the print page numbers as well.

 


Set page numbering In Microsoft Word

  1. With the document open click Insert > Footer.  Then in the ribbon will now show Header & Footer.
  2. Click Page Number button and choose page style Plain Number 3. Word will automatically number each page.
  3. Then be sure to save the document.

 

Choose page  numbering options In TSS

  1. Open settings for the current TSS profile click Document Settings tab.
  2. Then make sure Translate Footer is selected but don't select Show original page numbers unless you want there to be references to the print page numbers from the original untranslated document.
  3. Then attempt to emboss your document
